Founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen, LEGO is a private, global company whose mission is to “inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.” Currently one of the world’s leading toy companies, LEGO is now owned by KIRKB A/S (75%) and the LEGO foundation (25%). Their prime function is focused on production and creating quality products that meet the needs and desires of consumers.
LEGO’s company objectives include:
